The Home Office is headed by Mitch Erland, the owner of Erland Insurance Agency. Mitch has been in the insurance business since 1975 and has specialized in horse insurance since 1985. They are one of the largest writers of equine insurance in the Chicago area. Mitch, his wife Gail and their daughter Courtney run the home office. They have one riding horse and one driving horse at home.

New York Office

Our New York office is headed by Juliet Charkin. Juliet has been in the horse insurance business since 1986 and has owned horses her entire life. She has worked as an equine claims examiner, an underwriter, and as an insurance agent.  Juliet has two horses at home, one is a veteran of uncountable trail rides and hunter paces,  and the other competes in hunter shows at the local level.
